My niece, update

As noted here my niece has cancer. Melanoma. The parents and doctors decided that visiting out-of-state facilities for tests/further care is not necessary. She goes in for surgery on Wednesday. They decide today if they take some lymph nodes while they're at it. It's unclear if the lymph has been infected- if so, --- well, let's hope not.
