I seem to have some cultural activities going on. Some less high brow than others. And gardening

Stuff that's happened of late-

• Saw Dark Knight yesterday. Yep, that was pretty damn good. Hellboy was last Monday (supposed to be DK, but it sold out on a Monday night.. HB was pretty but less interesting with the plot.) The trailers before DK included Watchmen. Woah. Yes, please.
  
• Going to see Shakespeare in the Park tomorrow and Theater @ 1st on Saturday.
• Tickets for SYTYCD tour go on sale Saturday as well. (zomg!) Speaking of my favorite summer tv obsession- we're down to the top 6 dancers this week. Sweating bullets time. For those who pay attention, I'm estimating Katee or Twitch for winners now that *SOB* Will's been nixed. I'm sort of hoping for Twitch, as I adore that boy. Ok. I think I'm done for now on that compulsive fannish babble.
• I've been somewhat slavishly looking for vids from Comicon- mostly via Whedonesque and Dr. Horrible news feeds. There was also a link via Wil Wheaton's blog. He's rockin' the beard-look these days. I'm liking it. Dare I say it- makes him a bit more edgy. (ducks and covers in case he kills me from afar) -- for those who don't get that last reference, it's a thing for him. He goes on at length in his first book about that descriptor
• Non-cultural things: Garening- Saturday I swapped out bee balm from barrel to a spot in the yard. Hopefully a border of mulch will keep the weedwhacker at bay. The empty barrel is now filled with transplanted basil, which was over-crowded, a new red pepper, the too-long squished lavender, and some chives. Funny how all that fills up a barrel quickly.

What the fuck were people thinking getting rid of Will? I thought he was a shoe-in. Criminal. I loved loved loved watching him and hope I get to see him in something else prominent.

I was beyond shocked that Mark was kept over Will. Totally criminal. Especially when Will put so much into his solo! Seriously cool, but maybe didn't appeal to these kids these days (get off my damn lawn)

I concur about the girls, and I don't watch the other one(s?) either. They don't do it right.
