Ok, no zombie march

I have reconsidered with the assistance of Miss plumtreeblossom 's discussion in her blog. No zombie march on Easter for me. I'm not Christian, but I'd like to not put such a bad name to zombie activities that they're not welcome anymore. I really hope they reschedule. I have an awesome fake book and everything (that looks like it's sprouting from my head). Oh, and even quiet_elegance  agrees it's a dickish maneuver, and he's often my tempering voice of reason. And if he of the not remotely PC thinks it's a bad plan, it really is.

You know, I have no objection to zombies whatsoever, but it does seem more than mildly tacky to have them trudging down major thoroughfares undoubtedly passing churches of all types full of Easter worshipers. I'm glad you're opting out if the intent does seem to be deliberately provocative rather than incidentally so.

Apparently passing 8 churches, which isn't a difficult feat in that part of town.

Yeah, that's where I ended up to. For folks who believe, Easter is a genuinely holy day and being consciously disruptive during someone's holy moment is just tacky and lame.

I'm just so sad and angry that they co-opted something I love -- the zombie marches -- and turned it into a gesture of insult and hate. I really hope this doesn't spoil future marches.
