Ummm...I just signed up for an account on Etsy...I haven't made a store or a profile or anything. I figured that I would do that when the website was updated and my new collection was online and stuff. I've sent a few emails to folks looking for custom-made wedding dresses but that's it so far.

Any Etsy words of wisdom?

I'm not sure I'm the best person to give you advice on Etsy these days. I don't remember the last time I made a sale. I don't think it was this year.

I had good sales this weekend at Open Studios at the Bazaar Bizarre.

I bought the CUTEST little plush figure that makes me smile ridiculously every time I see it.

I have been getting lots of cat snuggles today!

New job starts Wednesday. Fighting crime and getting paid. :) It's basically stuff I've been doing for free + my favorite parts of my old jobs, and it's part-time, so my body can handle it and I don't have to miss any Elayna time.

well, images of specific vignettes that illustrate bayscaping or rain gardens. i'm in negotiations with them right now about which pictures and usage rights. pretty neat! it's for home owners in disadvantaged areas so they can see that it's possible to do environmentally responsible landscaping on their properties (which in turn minimizes runoff).

The lobby of Mt. Auburn Hospital has been refurbished, and is really nice. Also, they have a big Christmas tree and it's decorated ENTIRELY IN SILVER and it's utterly gorgeous. Next year I'm gonna do that. (I've always wanted to but I wondered how it would look. Now I know. :)

I overpaid my budget for a bunch of antique bottle at an auction recently, but their performance on ebay thus far (no auctions complete yet, but strong watcher activity and strong bidding thus far) may just pull my chestnuts out of the fire. I also bought a lantern at an estate sale last Friday for $30 that may just cover all my Christmas shopping expenses.
