I'm not too keen on the fishy stuff, though cooked appeals more than raw.

And what a coinkydink, we're planning to make our own sushi for dinner tonight. That reminds me, I should start cooking the rice at some point...

BRING THE FISH! mm nomnomnom

Also, it's been too long since sushi. I/we should get some soon?

I don't eat seafood in general. However, I love rice and seaweed and veggies. Yum

I'm less of a fan of the cooked sushi, but I loves me a good shrimp tempura roll.

Totally in the Bring on the Fish camp. I don't eat sushi nearly often enough, but it's one of my key go-to lunch/dinners when I'm in need of a pickmeup. Which, oddly, I have been, but there's been no sushi. Methinks this needs to be remedied.

I am allergic to shellfish and really dislike fish. That said, i really enjoy sushi. The prep is rigorous enough that I don't tend to worry about crosscontamination even when shellfish comes on the same slab or boat or whatever.

Sushi as a whole, I just don't like. The texture's all wrong.

Stick to the veggie sushi, with extensive forays into abominations like hot-dog sushi and spam musubi.

But my favourite parts are the wasabi and the pickled ginger.

I've eaten sushi a few times and thought it was fine, and I even liked it, but my SO doesn't care for it or Japanese food, and I am suspicious of stuff sitting in cases.

I also don't eat:
1) white rice due to the whole diabetic thing;
2) avocado because it's yucky.

So, if invited to join friends for sushi, I would, but I'd feel most comfortable with some guidance to remind me of the good stuff.

I adore sashimi and salads/dishes based on it. Sushi refers to dishes based on rice, not fish, and since going low-carb I'm eating little or no rice. I do love those fancy rolls with the spicy mayo and tempura flakes, though :)
