Wow, that was SO not fun
Ok, I have now determined if I ever get hard up for a job, I will NOT do cold calls. Ever. After a wopping 22 minutes, the onset of a headache has come on, my stomach is in knots and my back is about ready to spasm.
What the hell was I doing? Calling to talk to voters in NH about the election- see if they'd talk about who they are leaning towards and what issues are most important to them. My first call was the only one where either anyone was home and/or wanted to talk to me or was the right number. Nice older guy. I only did 11 calls total and I don't know if I can do that again.

I did some computer sales back when I worked for small places. I mostly did assembly and repairs, but in a small business, you do what you have to. That was ok. So for a brief period, I did the cold call thing - suit, travelling around, knocking on doors.
No. Not again.

But it's important and I have to congratulate you on doing it.

"I think never is enough, yeah never is enough. I never want to do that stuff...."

But you did it, that's the important thing.
