mizarchivistI had a dream about The Ex a few nights ago in which he was very happy to see me and he apologized for being a raging asshole to me since we broke up and acting like I'm The Worst Human Being, Ever. I love it when my subconscious is as unsubtle as the conscious, really!
The inside scoop is that no really, I'm the "Anti-Jeebus" still in The Ex's eyes. Ok. Fine. After 7 years of not even seeing him, and being broken up for getting on to 8, I'd say "this is so very much NOT my problem." We may now call me scapegoat. (baaaaaaa)
I'd say my actual emotional upset on all this rates about 5% of the whole. A few years ago, I'd be really bummed. But, my life is fantastic. I love my job, my family, my friends. He's probably very grumpy most of the time and if I can "assist" him by being the focus of all his rage, well- hey! I serve a purpose even for the pathetic. Go, me!
...And it gave me a fantastic excuse to put together a very fun icon! To he, I say: good luck, DKJ. I hope you don't look back on your life in a few decades and regret being so frelling bitter.
