Confirmation of a good idea

Yep. I'm definitely thinking Cosmo's Curiosities will be the name of my online shop for clay selling, in honor of a deceased kitty of my family. For a bit there, I remembered the first thought of "Creations" for the latter half of the name, but that word pairing was already taken, so there I was thinking I needed to modify, when in fact I already had. Duh. I should really have that coffee soon.
I may not have an online selling presence at the moment, but if anyone needs holiday giftiness/ornaments, jewelry--- Here I be, pimping myself. :) 
Edit Oh yeah. I also finished season 2 of West Wing last night. I'm relieved as hell it wasn't a traumatic end like the first season. I was betting on this when decided to finish before lining up season 3.  Mind you, I am very much hoping my coworker who loaned 2 will think to bring 3 tomorrow. grin.

big food love

Omlette with freshly sauteed mushrooms, sharp cheddar, and eggs from Wilson's Farm (the freshest I've ever found not from my aunt who has chickens in her back yard). Ciabatta bread bought fresh yesterday, so still very pliable- lightly toasted. One  slice with just butter, one with butter and strawberry jam (how very french!) and one with Neutella. Freshly ground and brewed coffee. This may well be the best breakfast evar!  Ready, set, craft!

Family visit planning

So, after several years hiatus, my parents have taken in an exchange student for the remainder of the school year. This is the 8th AFS kid my folks hosted, and 9th if you include the young lady who boarded with them for a year+ from Croatia (?); Lucy's from France and her original family was not very supportive, so, yeah. When there wasn't any inclusion for Thanksgiving, that was the last straw. 
Mom just called to fill me in on this and ask if Lucy was welcome at Christmas. Unanimous and unequivocal "yes" from all house members. purple_terror's actually not going to be around for the better part of the weekend as it is, so the jockeying for the bathroom won't be any worse than usual during a visit, most likely. I'm really excited by the prospect of this addition, as Christmas is always more fun when there's a kid around, even if she is a teenager. Also, there's more impetous to go do stuff in town, since she's not been to Beantown thus far. Yay :)
By the way, it's so nice out at the moment, I'm going to take my bike for a spin!
