It's only our second product (after the well-received hamster t-shirt, natch) But back to you: would you consider letting me use your photo in the 2009 calendar? In return, I send you a free calendar, and the satisfaction of being one of tens of thousands of photos chosen...

.... Woah. On the one hand, I'm totally honored. On the other, she gets my work for free, on the other-other, "one of tens of thousands." It's not like I was going into this expecting to profit from taking a totally spontaneous picture. If I disagree, someone else will easily step up and take my spot, Hell, some people would pay dearly to have theirs included, I bet. So I think I'll go for it.

He's OK

Just got a call from quiet_elegance. The first words out of his mouth were "I'm OK."
It turns out that while he was out to get some tools and feed meters at the hospital job site, some guy coming out of a parking spot hit  him going about 10 miles per hour. The bastard didn't even stop. The guys at the site helped him get his head back together, assess damage, call the police, and so on. He's bruised but fine and gets a freebie day off tomorrow. We should take pictures of our bruises (me from falling on monday)... or something. I did tell him that he really didn't have to play a game of one upsmanship with me.
